About the artwork
I created this piece as an invitation to slow down and truly see—beyond the surface of what we think we know. The ancient tree at the centre holds stories in its knots and scars, standing as a quiet witness to the passage of time. Around it, the birch trees seem almost like sentinels, delicate yet resolute.

When I was drawing this, I found myself reflecting on how much we miss when we move too quickly—how often we look, but don’t really see. The textures, the interplay of light and shadow, the life hiding in stillness—it’s all there, waiting, if we’re willing to notice.

This piece is less about what you see and more about what it stirs in you. I hope it brings a moment of presence, a sense of connection to the unseen rhythms of the world.
